Like events and goods, we too often consume the production of our works. I feel the need to observe the remains left by the shows I am making and those made in recent years, take some traits, pure signifiers to tie together, and make them an object in themselves. This collection operation must be channeled into an action with continuity, a mesh on which to deploy the contact between performers and audiences. In the creation of this new solo, it is the writing process itself that is explored, the choreographic and vocal material questioned. Fàtico is based on a unique action, that of dancing-singing, which proceeds thanks to the collisions and connections that are progressively established between the physical and vocal subjects. We allude to the continuity and time that is missing from all things: on the one hand the continuity between physical and vocal action, on the other hand the continuity with respect to one’s own doing. On stage, a single performer equipped with a microphone, an extension of the body, the trigger point of the quasi-physical relationship with the audience thanks to the vocal act. Here singing is not an act of spontaneity, but the product of a modification, integration and strengthening of the encyclopedia of this corporeity. The body produces sound, the technical phonic apparatus refracts and in turn produces other sound: dance takes shape immersed in this topology that mixes inside and outside.
