Accessible Creations is a space for reflection on accessibility that supports and encourages artistic research towards experimentation for widening the network of accessibility in the field of performing arts. The project assigns upon an open call a residency to take place at Spazio Rossellini in Rome, a multidisciplinary cultural centre in the Lazio Region. The aim of the residency is the creation or adaptation, in an accessible way, of works which take into consideration the various sensory needs of blind and visually impaired people. The project is a collaboration with ATCL, the Multidisciplinary circuit of Lazio. Accessible Creations receives the patronage of Municipality VIII, and it is promoted and supported by Al.Di.Qua. Artists, the Department of Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture of Sapienza University of Rome / Outreach Mission, the Italian Union for the Blind and Sant’Alessio Margherita di Savoia.
