Agape is a complex and elusive concept, imbued with deep human and spiritual resonance. It represents a transcendent love that transcends earthly conventions. Associated with charity, it embodies divine love for humanity and humanity’s love for God. This transcendent love is also reflected in the relationships between people, illuminated by the awareness of this divine connection. In this first study, choreographer Luna Cenere leads performers Ilaria Quaglia and Davide Tagliavini through an artistic exploration, in accordance with the music performed live by Renato Grieco.The sound performance, in counterpoint and in dialogue with the choreography, completes the experience with a depth that goes beyond the meaning of words. This first investigation not only seeks to explore an ancient and complex concept, but also opens up an attempt to perceive love in a spiritual dimension, beyond the boundaries of time and space.
