Apocalipsync arises from the concern generated by the life of the human being today. How the body, mind and spirit intertacts or how they are transformed into functional devices as society appears. On this occasion, the actor embodies a journey through the psyche of a human being and the potential consequences of his confinement. The constancy in this story focuses on how external stimuli condition and place him in opposition to the search for his inner wisdom and spiritual knowledge, distancing him from himself, from his essence, from his being. Each scene represents a stage of transformation of a man immersed in a world that holds his freedom, to go through an existential crisis and finally find himself. The show shows us the path that he travels towards his purest state to give meaning to his existence.

The piece is made up of 10 scenes that follow one another through transition and without interruption. The minimalist staging allows Luciano Rosso to take completely owning of the scene giving free rein to his characters. These latter are numerous, nearly forty, whom he interprets in turn by offering us a reflection on isolation and the increasingly connected world in which we live. He explores the duality between a character and his psyche, between the actor and his body, between man and his spirituality. It is these three relationships that are represented throughout the show. It is ultimately an introspection into the intimacy and vulnerability of the actor, which invites you to follow him in his sassy and whimsical characters, but also in a world in crisis increasingly dependent on technology and social networks.

Luciano Rosso is an Argentine independent artist who rose to popularity through his videos on social media where he performs songs with his own lip-sync technique. From his classic version of “El Pollito Pío” to his most recent “Dance Monkey”, his videos continue to add millions of views around the world. But lip-sync is not all he does. He began his career as a dancer and then got more interested in music, specializing in singing, in body percussion and in the creation of unconventional musical instruments. He has also participated as an actor in films, television shows and plays. Since 2010, he travels around the world with his physical theater show “Un Poyo Rojo“, and in 2018 he released “Furor“, where he plays with improvisation, dancing, and singing. Dancer, choreographer, musician, actor, Luciano Rosso is a multifaceted artist with a unique command of gestures and humor, which allows him to cross language barriers to offer the world a unique experience.
