Monumentum the second sleep / second part, the quartet has a temporal progression encapsulated in the pure dance of an ensemble, an expression of a plural development of relationships. Wrapped in chiaroscuro colour visions and traversed by dreamlike dialogues, the piece is in tune with the heartbeat of the gaze and makes us feel that there are other levels of communication or language, the possibility of living beyond the fence of the useful.
Cristina Kristal Rizzo, a dancemaker based in Florence, has been active on the Italian contemporary dance scene since the early 1990s. She is one of the founders of the historic Kinkaleri collective, with which she has actively collaborated, traversing the international performance scene and receiving numerous awards. Since 2008 he has embarked on an autonomous path of choreographic production, directing his research towards a theoretical reflection with a strong dynamic impact, aimed at regenerating the act of creation and opening up reflections on the present time. Alongside the touring of his shows, he is involved in an intense activity of experimental proposals, conferences, workshops, advanced training and theoretical writing, establishing himself as one of the main personalities of Italian choreography.
