RAVEN + LIGHTS choreography by Huang Shi-Hao
Raven explores the delicate balance between protection and freedom. Inspired by the mythological symbols of the raven, the work recounts emotional relationships through an intense physical dialogue between two performers. Rapid gestures and moments of suspension, fluid and powerful movements evoke a dimension suspended between separation and connection, transforming the stage into an emotional space. A visual and sensory experience that leaves a deep mark that goes beyond words.
In Lights, dance becomes a shield, a quest and a ritual of becoming. The multiple facets that a personality can absorb take shape on stage. The artist on stage explores the delicate balance between emotion and responsibility, instinct and social norms. Emotion, in dialogue with the environment, generates unstable defences and fragments the self, revealing the tension that arises in the friction between protection and transformation.
MARY choreography by Chih-Chia Huang
A solo inspired by the city of London, emblem of encounters and cultural stratifications, which explores contemporary multiculturalism through the character of Mary. The creation crosses languages, identities and areas of misunderstanding between different cultures, questioning the concept of homeland as a possible core of identity, deeply engraved in bodies and memories, between dreams, disorientation and the desire to belong.
