The Orbita project’s core concept is based on a need to reunite the city’s regional system in the field of contemporary dance production, programming, and training. It positions itself as an incubator that enhances existing practices, nurtures innovation, and fosters artistic growth and mobility.
To achieve this goal, the center’s consolidated actions and initiatives are based on a system of partnerships with other city institutions, networked nationally and internationally.
Both the production model, based on co-productions and collaborations with festivals, and the programmatic axis, designed to enhance existing spaces within the city’s ecosystem, leverage the network as an ecological work format.
