REVERSE is a free program rooted in Quarticciolo, an area in the eastern part of Rome, too often associated in news coverage with episodes of crime, but rarely told for the practices of mutual aid, solidarity, and social regeneration that residents carry out every day from the ground up. Reverse was born from the desire to overturn these stereotyped narratives, showcasing the resources present in the borgata and putting them in dialogue with national and international artistic practices. Reverse weaves together the contemporary languages of the performing, musical, acrobatic, audiovisual, choreographic, and sporting arts, building a multidisciplinary program in which performances, workshops, artistic residencies, and moments of public discussion become opportunities for encounter between residents, artists, and the local area.
