For the new creation Forget Diplomacy, which will be developed between Italy and Estonia, Irene Russolillo, associate choreographer of ORBITA|Spellbound, is looking for 1 to 2 performers to join the cast of the show.
The workshop/audition will take place at Teatro India in Rome on the following dates and times:
- July 4, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- July 5, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Requirements:
- professional training in contemporary dance
- solid stage experience and strong improvisation skills
The creation process, taking place between October 2026 and June 2027, will last a total of four to six weeks, in addition to performance dates.

Irene Russolillo is a dancer, vocalist, and choreographer with a nomadic and transdisciplinary approach to performance. She develops personal projects and collaborations with artists from dance, visual arts, and music, both in Italy and internationally. Since 2019, she has been developing research projects exploring the forms of voice and movement in relation to cultural erasure and social fragmentation, through residencies, collaborations, and research conducted in Italy, Armenia, and several African countries, particularly Senegal. Each project activates collaborative performative processes that question the relationship between cultural identity, historical memory, and the transformative potential of the performing arts, especially in border territories and within minority cultural expressions. Her upcoming project, Forget Diplomacy, will unfold between Italy and Estonia, along one of the eastern borders of the European continent.
