Theatron 2.0 is a cultural enterprise founded in Rome in 2015, recognized and funded by the Ministry of Culture for promoting generational turnover in the performing arts. It operates nationally in the fields of publishing, training, cultural project design, and services for the performing arts. Since 2017 it has run an online publication dedicated to contemporary artistic phenomena, with particular attention to new generations of artists and companies. Around the webzine, it has developed a professional community and a network of services including distribution, communication, administrative consulting, audience development, and production support. In 2021 it founded Omissis – Osservatorio drammaturgico, a research project supporting playwriting, from which the national Omissis Playwriting Prize and Italy's first fellowship dedicated to dramaturgical research were born. Theatron 2.0 also runs training programs, workshops, and projects aimed at artists, professionals, students, and communities, promoting the cultural, political, and social value of the performing arts.
Ornella Rosato is a journalist, author, and project designer. She is editorial director and editor-in-chief of the publication Theatron 2.0. She has published the volume *«Altrimenti il carcere resta carcere. Teatro Oltre i limiti, Compagnia Teatrale Petra»* with Bulzoni Editore. She leads journalism workshops at universities, academies, schools, and festivals. She is founder and curator of the Omissis – Osservatorio drammaturgico project. She works on conceiving and developing projects aimed at promoting theatrical culture, in collaboration with numerous Italian organizations.
