At the end of the performance Boxing the Beat, led by Joss Turnbull, the Neighborhood Festival opens up the exchange to the whole community: a free social dinner, open to everyone, bringing together some of the grassroots realities that keep the borgata alive and care for it every day, sharing spaces, energy, and collective attention.

The evening will be organized in collaboration with Bottega Quarticciolo – Economie di Quartiere and the Laboratorio di Ristorazione Quarticciolo, who will take care of the food and drinks, and with the Palestra Popolare del Quarticciolo.

The menu will be entirely vegetarian.
Craft beers produced by Birrificio Popolare del Quarticciolo will be available.

Palestra Popolare Quarticciolo was founded in 2015, in the housing blocks of the Roman borgata, to make sport accessible to everyone. Through boxing, it engages local residents, becoming a driving force for the transformation of the neighborhood. Today it involves around 200 people and promotes sporting, educational, social, and political activities.

Bottega Quarticciolo was founded to open where everything else closes: to raise the shutters of abandoned premises and give space back to the community. It promotes a new model of economic development for a borgata marked by commercial desertification and the monoculture of crack cocaine. To this end, it runs a neighborhood market, a community brewery, a carpentry workshop, and a catering project, contributing to the building of an energy community.
